From about the age of three, I can recall that my favorite color was green, and when given a choice it would be the color I would choose for all things. I have always identified myself with the color and with the character Tinker Bell. Watching her fly across the TV during the intro to the Wonderful World of Disney  always made me wish for magic, wings and pixie dust. Thus, this company had to be called Limegreentink.

   I have been drawn to making costumes since my mom made me a flapper dress out of a slip when I was in preschool. My first costume creation was an "I Dream of Jeanie"  outfit which I made in the seventh grade, with the help of my grandmother.  It was also the same year I took my first trip to Disney World. Each time I go there it reminds me of that first magical visit i had as a young girl.

   Making costumes and special clothing for my family has always been my passion. I have sewn for weddings, a ballet company, local and high school theaters, ice skating competitions, ren faires, scouting and cosplay events. 

   This company is the culmination of 42 years of dreaming, crafting, and making magic happen with cloth. I desire to share with you the opportunity to add a little sparkle to a child's eye when they wear a specially designed garment making them feel like they have stepped out of the pages of a fairy tale or action hero story.
